Introduction to Zbrush for illustration
This tutorial is aimed at people who are new to Zbrush or didn't had much experience with it, or tried to use it but didn't really liked it. Trust me you gonna like it ;]
I know this approach might cause some people at Zbrush central to go "Oh no, he didn't" but I think its a good way to cut through all the information noise and right away start using this amazing software with your illustrations.
With this tutorial You will get over 2 hours of video with almost non stop commentary. Topics covered include polygon resolution, dynamesh, basic masking and sculpting techniques, subtools extraction and clipping tools.
We also gonna export our test tool to Keyshot where I'm gonna show you how quickly setup your scene and render layers for Photoshop use.
Very simple but complete workflow that will let you start creating assets in Zbrush right away
Also included are:
Simple Zbrush and Keyshot project files
Custom user interface config file
Custom UI getting started text file
Please note This is not a tutorial about Zbrush interface (thou we quickly glance over it) so if you are unfamiliar with it I strongly recommend you watch this brief video from Digital Tutors
